really liked it

Kate Martinelli is a young, appealing homicide detective paired with veteran Alonzo Hawkin on a case involving the murder of three children. The bodies have been found in a community of eccentric recluses outside of San Francisco. One of these recluses is Vaun Adams, an artist of considerable talent who spent 10 years in prison for the murder of a child. I enjoyed the main charaters and strong psychological elements of this mystery.
