Great story! I loved the humor and the depth of the story. It definitely deserves the kudos it's earned since release. Some may find themselves intimidated by the cast of beauty pageant contestants, but the author quickly separates each girl in the reader's head, and confusion isn't a problem. (Though the scenes jump from one character to another abruptly sometimes.) Definitely recommended for those who like girl-focused YA, and a nice, lighthearted alternative to a lot of the weightier releases I've been looking at lately.
