Let me tell you why I think Josh Lanyon is an extremely proficient writer. He makes me fall in love with a man, who is insecure, stubborn, narrow-minded and in the middle of his mid-life crisis. This man doesn't want to commit himself to a relationship or doesn't even want to think about commitment. He is truly scared about being loved (too much) and he doesn't have a clue how to talk about his feelings. He wants to sleep in his own bed with his own pillow and when he wakes up, he isn't a morning person. What a catch!!! *grin*

I'm no mystery expert, but I like the old fashioned, Agatha Christie kind of mystery setting in the Holmes & Moriarity books. That always ensures that I just can't figure out long beforehand, who the murderer is.

But the best part of this particular book was the description of what happened (and didn't happen) between Kit and J.X. The latter of the men was utterly sweet, hot and wonderful and the former is getting there reeeeeeally sloooooowly... *wide grin* Anyway, the chemistry between these two is unbelievable and this book has the most incredible sex scenes ever! It's all about mind games, honey!!!

It is going to be dreadful torture to start waiting for the sequels to this series. Kit and J.X. have stolen my heart. While waiting the Holmes & Moriarity #3 I'll just do things that Kit would do: as little traveling as possible, no drinking red wine at all, no pillow talk, no submission in bed even if I craved for it... So, I'm sure time will fly and Holmes & Moriarity #3 will be released any minute now...
