A fun survey of beekeeping in the United States. It mainly tells the story of a beekeeper in the panhandle in Florida. I learned a lot about specialty beekeeping and why "apple blossom honey" is different from "tupelo honey" and how the generic beekeeping business works. I did not learn how much work it would be for me to keep bees in my own backyard. ;) Well-written and especially good for people who like science history. There is a lot in here.
