I have to admit that when I first started this I wasn't for sure how interesting a lamb shifter could be.

Quickly I found Carson to be the cutest lamb shifter ever. Baah. Brody was the typical wolf shifter, dominant, possessive, and protective but they live in an interesting world where the predators still hunt and eat the prey. Sure the werewolves could go to the grocery store and buy their meat but then they wouldn't be true to themselves now would they? All the shifters operate on these traditional concepts and there doesn't seem to be a reason for anyone to buck the system until the werewolf Brody finds his true mate in the lamb Carson. That is the easy part. The hard part is figuring out how they can be allowed to stay together.

I really enjoyed this story and look forward to the rest of the series.
