It's been a while since I've walked in the Nightside. I sure did miss the place.

This outing is John Taylor's last as a PI and his first as Walker. It's the night before his wedding to Suzie Shooter, and he wants to end his sleuthing career on a high note. So he takes one last job alongside the Victorian Hero and soon finds himself in the crosshairs as everyone and their dead brother comes gunning for him.

It's not bad, as stories go. A bit predictable, but in a series this long running that's to be expected. And we do get appearances by all of the old standby favorites. But, as this may be the last hurrah, we also get a brief appearances by every two-bit character from all the previous stories too. And a few from Greens other series as well.

Too many appearances, really.

But, eh, can't blame the guy.

All in all I'll say it was a decent read. It was just nice to roam the Nightside once more, maybe for the last time.
