Bonny Hi Terri,

I read this book a while ago and couldn't put it down! Just about the same time just shortly after reading the book, we had an opportunity to see Niagara and the Falls from a helicopter tour. (It was part of a conference my husband attended near there.) While seeing the Falls I was remembering the part of the book where the father drowns in the Whirlpool. Even from the air it looks pretty terrifying!

Terri I was born and partly raised in Niagara falls (USA) so it was very interesting to me. In the early sixties, the road that we used to get to my Grandmother's in Youngstown (just a few miles up the road) was rerouted because of a new power plant opening. I have a somewhat different view of power plants because of this book.

A good read!
