Read in November, 2009 — I own a copy , read count: 4

I've read this book several times since it first came out in the 70s and now having raised a child with a disability I appreciate the story even more.

This is a glowing but very realistic testimony of a 15 year old girl who's life was chanaged instantly by a diving accident. I still can't imagine what it must have been like to go from an active, athletic girl to instant paralysis but she's done wonderful things in her life and has been happily married for many years.
