They take a lot of liberties imagining what the historical figures would have said, and that part is a bit awkward, but I also felt like it made the history "come alive" to see it like that. I enjoyed the book. The whole fog thing and getting everyone over the river... I have to admit, it really does seem like a miracle to me. Just something I cannot explain.
I had no idea the Chinese were so close to discovering America. That was quite interesting.
I think that despite its flaws they meant well. They want us to remain hopeful about America and in this economy we need all the hope we can get, so thank you gentlemen.
