Bonnie (Eve, Quinn and Bonnie #3)
by Iris Johansen
by Iris Johansen
I was ever so excited when I saw the book and couldn't wait to read it. Now that I've finished it, it's sort of anti-climactic and left me wanting more, much like everyone else. I was pleased that Eve was able to find Bonnie's bones and put that chapter of her life to rest, however I feel that this book isn't up to the usual standard of Ms. Johansen's work. At a certain point I felt that the end was a little too predictable and a little too "neat" with how everything wrapped up.
While this may signal an end to the Eve Duncan series, I hope that it's not the last time we'll see her character and some of the others. All that being said, I did enjoy the book and couldn't put it down and to me that's the mark of a good book.
