The plot and story arc are much better in this book than in book 2. The best thing this series has going for it has been the multidimensional, flawed characters. The problem becomes that by the end of this book every character either becomes so despicable, arrogant, cowardly, blood-thirsty or pathetic that it's hard to like any one of them. Without giving away too much I liked the non-traditional ending. It was not as satisfying as I hoped because it didn’t turn out like I thought it would, but it's one that will stick with me.
