Lizzie Nichols is back, this time in New York city , looking for an apartment and a job. When summer fling Luke uses the L word as in living together . Lizzie is all to happy to give up on her plan to share an apartment with best friend Shari. But Lizzie is not so lucky in her employment search. As Shari finds the perfect job, Lizzie struggles through one humiliating interview after another either she is over qualified or under qualified for her chosen field of work -vintage - gown -rehab. Shari,s boyfriend Chaz recommends Lizzie fpor a receptionist position at his fathers posh law firm. And Lizzie lands a non paying job at a local wedding - gown shop. But Lizzies notoriously big mouth begins to get her in to trouble at work and at home almost at once - first at the law firm where she mes and befriends Jill Higgins , a new York society bride with a trouble some future mother in law and than at home when she brings up the M word to Luke Soon she is homeless and jobless all over again . Can Lizzie save herself or will she have to return home . A laugh out loud fun read. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
