Honestly, I'm not entirely sure what I thought of this book. I found the way the book was structured really catching, and loved all the descriptions of the circus, and the atmosphere as a whole; but the characters were all very two dimensional, and as for the plot itself, it seemed basically... well, if not non-existing, then a reason for the atmospheric descriptions rather than the other way around.

But despite that, it really was a magical book, and I don't blame the reveres for following "The Night Circus" around - I would want to do the same thing myself.

Rose Ann I really hope you like this! One of my new favorites!

Marie Ooo, can't wait to see what you think.

Ruth Just heard the author of this on the radio this afternoon.

Marie I felt much the same. The plot I could take or leave, but the atmosphere/beautiful writing was enough by itself to make the book completely and utterly worthwhile to me.
