I continue to love this series. The era between the world wars, with many world players (Prince Edward/David, That American Woman/Wallis, even Churchhill) playing minor roles, along with the cads and swingers of the time. I love the characters from Lady Georgiana to her mother (who finally steps up to the plate in this book and not only takes a central role, but demonstrates that she might even have a maternal urge or two) to her Irish rogue of a sometimes-boyfriend, to her totally inadequate but frustratingly wonderful lady's maid. Rhys Bowen can keep writing these books forever, as far as I'm concerned. I can't wait for the next in the series.

I listen to the audiobooks and they are quite entertaining. I may break down and buy them to read to myself, as well.

Jami I started this series because I love Katherine Kellgren's narration. I've stayed with the series because they are such fun!
