For Worse Never Better grabbed me and threw me to the end. I had to find out how Penne survived her verbally and physically abusive husband, how her little girls fared. There are many happy and loving moments mixed in, which make the spider's web sticky and complex. Penne does well at creating setting, writing mostly realistic and sometimes humorous dialog, and expressing her thoughts. A number of typos slipped by, like small stones in a whitewater river. The end is satisfying, with a twist of smile. Gives an understanding of the intricate dance in an abusive relationship.
