It's easy to like books when you agree with the premise. I am all for reading to children and now I have something to cite. That being said, there were times when I thought it got bogged down in facts and figures. I know saying who the experts are and what the actual numbers are is important but I often just read over that information. Other times, I kind of felt like an infomercial. I don't think books should be hinting at what important information is coming up next. That being said, I appreciate the lists of books at the end some of the more concrete examples for why reading to kids is so important.
