Melodrama. I thought parts of the story were pretty funny, especially in the first half, but the second half was a big serving of cheese and corn. I'm really pleased that I listened to the audio version, because having to read my way through all the thee, thy and thou dialogue would have probably driven me to drink. Glad it's finished.

Darkpool (protesting GR censorship) Remind me why I thought it was a good idea to read all of Heyer's histories & romances in chronological order of setting?? Anyone??? 20min in and already it's feeling like a chore...
