really liked it

Despite dripping with melodrama and often finding itself lost in the gaze of its own navel, Wuthering Heights remains a classic: a fine story, wonderfully dark with complex and vivid characters, that probably understands more about romantic love than we'd all like to admit. I'm fairly certain that this book has gotten me laid on no less than three or four occasions back in undergrad. For some reason or another, young women of a certain disposition - especially lit majors 18-22 - find a knowledge and appreciation for this book to be alluring. One is also licensed to a bit of bad behavior, as it calls to mind Heathcliff, who is inexplicably adored by these types. Ah, college.
