This was such a sweet book! Michael Crichton does an amazing job of weaving his extensive research on Britains's Great Train Robbery with some great fictional dialogue. I'm sure he takes liberties with character development and story details but he does such a good job at it that the book is just fascinating! At first his writing style is a bit strange...he tells the story like a historical narrative but then delves into the dialogue and details as if he's writing a fictional novel. Overall it's fascinatingly informative, well-written and just an amazing story!
