Percy does it again...the monsters follow him to his new school and it goes up if flames! But, this time, it is the new school where Mr. Blofis, his mom's new boyfriend is a teacher. He 'escapes' to Camp Half-Blood and Percy and his friends realize that evil Lord Kronos is at is again, marshalling his forces to overtake the world. A new quest is about to begin for Annabeth, Grover, Tyson and Percy. This time, however, Annabeth lead the quest through the labyrinth to thwart the attempt by Kronos. A new prophecy is revealed and many surprising adventures are in store for the foursome. Grover finally finds Pan, but at what cost? Annabeth loses someone who is etched in her heart, and she is distraught. Tyson, bonds with Percy, his half-brother, and is intrumental in the quest. And, most satisfyingly, Percy finds out what he truly means to his father, Poseidon. In the end, Kronos may be stalled, but he lurks as a threat to be reckoned with...#5 is sure to be as exciting as the first four.
