I just re-read this--I am on a MAJOR Honorverse glom--and I have to say-- my rating holds.
I had forgotten the subtle humor (Thank You Eric Flint!!) that is woven through the story. Even though the action is very dramatic and often very violent, the humor keeps it from being too dark. Just gotta love Victor Cachat!
