Oh, the cheesiness of this book. Honestly just reading the back of this book clued me in to the fact that it would be artificially sad and sweet and cheesy. Ok, I hope that doesn't sound too harsh. I'm sure there are people who like these kinds of books and that's great. I'm just not one of them.
One example of what I'm talking about is when they address each other as "girlfriend." And it's not even when they are being silly or happy.
In the midst of all the juvenile speech and problems, I was surprised to find a pretty heavy make out scene and discussion of marriage and sex. So there are some adult problems in the book.
But really the problem is that all of it is so unbelievable. The plot, the characters, everything. I found myself rolling my eyes a lot. I can't think of anyone I would recommend this to, unless they are in to this type of book.
