A good ending to the Fate of the Jedi saga. I'm not sure whether to be disappointed that it didn't set things up directly for the "Legacy of the Force" comic series, or excited that more books will be added for the intervening time period.

(view spoiler)[ I was a little bit disappointed about the haphazard introduction of Darth Krayt (aka, The Dark Man) on Coruscant. I anticipate this event being described from his point of view at some point in the future, but it leaves a lot of open questions. That being said, the final fight being two separate instances of Jedi & Sith vs. Abeloth was very entertaining and I'm interested to see how they continue to tie in The One Sith.

Having not watched any of "The Clone Wars" animated series, I was unaware of some of the important backstory later in the novel. However, it was explained well within the novel and I now feel somewhat motivated to start watching the more recent episodes (which presumably was the entire point). I do like that they're finally connecting the animated series into the novels, since it helps sustain the wonderful feeling that Star Wars cannon is all consistent and interconnected.
