really liked it

A small collection of mostly privileged children of privilege go to Brown and party, have unsafe sex, fall in love, vomit, read semiotic theory, graduate, go to Paris, go to India, come out, feel guilty for their good fortune, try to rescue an early disastrous marriage, and apply to graduate school. Nothing special happens, but given that this is Eugenides' book, it's all told so well that I ignored my fellow humans for three days and plowed through.
