An excerpt from my book review, "Through excellent details of the afterlife, Elsewhere, and ever-deepening characterization, Zevin creates an entire world filled with emotional ups and downs as Liz discovers the mirrored parallels between her old life and her new one. The theme of death and afterlife has the potential to be too introspective for certain age groups. Yet Zevin’s writing style could allow younger readers to enjoy the story, while still allowing older youth to have plenty to think about and discuss."

This was another book I really enjoyed and think is great for kids 13 and up. It has some good themes that can be discussed by youth and the writing style is very engaging and relateable.
