Well, this was a disappointing end to a pretty fun series.

This one was just so over-the-top campy and silly, almost in a so bad, it's good sort-of way, - with a few new characters thrown in that you won't really care about at all - that I just wasn't sure what to make of it. It read more like a madcap comedy than the soapy drama the series began as.

I think Lorraine was my favorite. She was at least funny.

I just wanted to slap Clara by the end for her self-righteousness, and Gloria's belief that love, true love, will make poverty easier is just a sad testament to the silly philosophies we foist on teens.

Well, you win some, you lose some . . . and this final book in the trilogy was a loser.
