I almost feel badly putting this one in the dislike pile because I know it's gotten ripped to shreds on the internet but ... I just can't recommend this. The premise is interesting and her story sucked me in, but I think it would have benefited from some time and distance from the time she spent homeless. I understand that the book went a long way to getting the author back on her feet and as she was writing, she probably couldn't see a time where she would have distance from her homelessness, but it would have made for a more enjoyable read.
