I enjoyed this interesting take on Nephilim. It was definitely full of action and twists to keep you guessing what will be happening next. I did find myself a tiny bit confused when scenes led into the next ones. It was definitely intense at times but it followed through well and had some heart pounding spots that were awesome.

Julia’s character was interesting, she finds herself running away, after a fire caused by a demon she thinks she imagined, that kills her foster parents. Running into Cayne in a warehouse where this evil entity has beat him good, Julia heals him and finds a hard earned friendship in him. Spoiler: Cayne definitely was a mysterious kind of guy, never letting on much about himself due to not being able to remember much. But when he eventually remembers, I certainly would love to see what was going through his mind, especially about what he was and what Julia means to him.

I very much want to see what happens next in Julia’s and Cayne’s journey, it was left wide open and I can’t wait to read Stolen.
