So, I got on the library list early for this one... so sue me! I thought it was a unique take on a body-snatchers type sci-fi novel. Ms. Meyer described it as a "love-triangle involving only two bodies". The thing that was unexpected and thought-provoking was the fact that you kind of like the aliens... they're not evil and bad which makes the core issues in the book more poignant: what makes us human, the pendulum effect of our emotions and the impact/importance of compassion, brutality and, of course, love (it gets a bit too sappy Stephenie Meyer for me in the lovey-dovey bits). A nice, easy, clean read that has just enough meat to keep you thinking a bit after it's done.
