bookshelves: history, hurricanes
Recommended for: Fans of history, meteorology, Texas

Thanks to Larson's writing, Isaac's Storm is every bit as engrossing as The Devil In The White City. Reading this book will transport you to Galveston, Texas in the year 1900 as a monster hurricane barrels toward you.
