B R Stateham has written a hard boiled page turner in Insatiable. His take on Paul's werewolf detective Roman Dalton starts with a great description of the experience of lycanthropy. It moves into a tense fast paced plot. The dialogue is hard edged. Stateham's usual wry humour is present and he adds a dimension of realism to the story. Brilliant from start to finish.
