here is what i learned from this book. and i can say this because michael crichton is dead (God rest his soul).

do no fall victim to one of the classic blunders, the most famous of which is "when someone asks if you're a god you never EVER say no" (as seen in ghostbusters where i get most of my everyday advice), but only slightly less well-known is this: "always be the first person to use any alien technology....ALWAYS." then you should probably use your god powers to make the rest of the crew forget about said alien technology and then you should use said god powers for really cool things. like ice cream. and ninjas. ...alright, alright, and ending world hunger and child abuse. jesus.... but then you should totally go back to making cool stuff like dancing elephants. at least that's what i would do. you're welcome world.

i would like to apologize to alien spheres out there in time-space for this complete waste of everything review. it was completely unfair of me to want to use your awesome power givingness for ninjas. everyone knows that it takes ninjas years and years to master techniques of intricate fight styles and stealth maneuvers. to think that i can be all like *poof* ninjas [cue angelic choir] is just preposterous. and mean. and heartless. sorry.

[ok, stop angelic choir. holy cow those guys can hold a note. sheesh]

oh. and i totally created a new word. "givingness." see omnipotent god like powers already being used for good! i rock.
