An excellent prequel to Warped Passages. If you don't know the background, it gets one excited about the amazing technical feat that is the LHC, the exciting data that should come out of it, and all of the theories that should be tested. Read Warped Passages to get more into the conceptual insights and underpinnings of those theories.
