“Opens at Nightfall, Closes at Dawn.”—page 9

Of genres I don’t frequently pursue—fantasy, romance, magical-realism—but perhaps should, ‘The Night Circus,’ by Erin Morgenstern is a masterful piece of craftsmanship and storytelling.

Recommendation: Writers who came to mind, while reading this clever novel, included Ray Bradbury, Stephen King and Joanne Harris. If you’ve enjoyed anything by any of them, you’ll probably enjoy ‘The Night Circus.’

“You are no longer quite certain which side of the fence is the dream.”—page 382
