Lady Georgiana is of royal blood, but short of money. So a free ticket to the Riviera during a dreary 1930's London winter is a wonderful gift. But Georgie finds herself a lamb among the Riviera wolves, with a handsome French marquise leading the pack. Fortunately, she meets Coco Chanel and her business partner Vera, an Englishwoman with a connection to Georgie's family. When Vera's egregious neighbor is killed, the French police think Georgie is the most likely suspect. All the while, Georgie is concealing something--the real motive for her vacation, which is an assignment from her cousin, the Queen of England.
