liked it

** spoiler alert ** I really liked the world of the fays, and the other creatures.
The iron king is the first installment of the iron series by Juliet Kagawa. where mythical creatures are among normal folk, just not detected.
i gave this book a 4/5 stars. i really liked this book and am looking forward to the iron daughter, next in the series. i wonder where Meghan will lead us.
so it starts with Meghan Chase, and the day before and on her sixteenth birthday. nothing goes well for her, and is normally known at school as the farm girl. she just wants her birthday to be a normal birthday with her friend Robbie(Robbin goodfellow). she finally thinks so when her she gets to have lunch with her hot crush. it turns out to be a disaster, and she ends up running off to the nurses office.
whats worse is she keeps seeing little weird creatures that keep appearing, and a boy upon a mighty horse, that gazes at her with eyes like cold knifes.
what could be worse, right? Meghan thinks, but there's more worse to come. her friend,Robbie, is actually a fay and has been around a while, and her brother has been stolen and replaced by a evil creature that looks like him.
now her good friend Robbie has promised Meghan to go with her to nevernever land in search of her little brother.
in doing so she finds out her real father is a king fey, and now learns shes half human....and half fairy.
princess of the summer kingdom, and daughter of the king, she now has help from the winter prince,Ash, in looking for her brother, but has a deal with him that her friend does not agree upon at all.
Meghan has a lot to do......
