"Hey, I have an idea for a book. It's about a post-apocolyptic America where the central government keeps everyone in line by taking children from the fringes and making them fight to the death." If someone were to come to me with that idea, I would be shocked. There's no way I would read that book. The idea sounds a little corny, and I don't want to read about children killing each other. Why would I read that?

It turns out that not only would I read that book, but I would love it like few books that I have ever read. This book became a part of me. When I had to put it down because of other duties, all I could think about was sitting back down to start reading it again. When I fell asleep at night, I had dreams about the book. It completely invaded every part of my life. I'm not saying it is the greatest book I've ever read, but it is close to the top, and it easily earns a 5 star review.

The book isn't necessarily for the faint of heart, but it is an amazing work of fiction that I will definitely read again.
