Read from October 13 to 25, 2011

Sammy Keyes is a 7th grader. She lives illegally in her Gram's (grandma's) apartment at the highrise rest home. She has two friends: Dot and Marissa.
She always has to put up with a snobby, red-headed (no offense I'm one myself), popular, girl named Heather Acosta.

Hurtful Heather decides to pull a prank on Sammy, by calling a boy named Jared and saying embarrassing things about how much she loves him, while pretending to be Sammy. Jared's girlfriend doesn't like that one bit and gets really mad at innocent Sammy. Heather figures that if they break up, she will get Jared. Heather makes everyone believe that Sammy is a freak when she wears her high tops she spray painted green on Halloween to school. Sammy wants to prove that she isn't calling Jared and she isn't a freak. On Halloween Sammy also saves a man (who every one else thought was a freak) by untying him and putting out a fire a robber caused. Sammy wants to solve the mystery and find the man's lost items.
