Popular Crime: Reflections on the Celebration of Violence
by Bill James
by Bill James
Couldn't put it down, and was sad when it ended.
This isn't an encyclopedia of popular crime stories; it is just one true crime fan's perspective on some of the biggest crime stories in American history. It helps that James knows his stuff, and it's really funny to boot. The only criticism I would have is that it's not longer, but perhaps we can hope for a part two!
