This was one of the first bookcrossing books I've found "in the wild".
And I just loved it! It was very interesting to be a part of Aurora's "magical" life. Every time I picked the book to read, it was as if a breeze was going through my life.
This book includes so many things, details... about Irish & English imigration to Canada, about salted fish, about lighthouses, about ship whreckes, about the study of ice, about traditions and "folklore" from Newfoundland, about Titanic, about true faery tales... I've found it also interesting to know that there is a Portugal Cove in Newfoundland, and to share the life of those that salt cod, a very appreciated fish in Portugal (bacalhau).
