Having been a fan of sports and ESPN for quite some time, I got a kick out of this book. It's an interesting take on the building of a true sports empire and the evolution of a channel that seemed to pioneer several trends within cable television. I did think that there were areas that ran long and they clearly reused a couple anecdotes which I thought was a little confusing. All in all, a good read if you like sports or ESPN, but if you don't really like one of those things, I doubt this would be terribly interesting.
