really liked it
bookshelves: historical-romance

there comes a time in a woman's life when she must do the unthinkable - and find employment. And that is exactly what the respected widowed Anna Wren did.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, her employer is the pock marked, thin lipped, bad tempered Earl of Swartingham. Being secretary to the man is not the easiest job in the world, and to make things worst, Anna realize that she is falling in love with the Earl. So naturally she does what she thought best, and that is going to London brothel, wearing masked of course, to satisfied her 'womanly' desire with the said Earl.

Different with any other romance where the hero is not dashing or swashbuckling but comes with pock marked face instead, The Raven Prince is a sensual book about two adults and minus the stupidity of the heroine which so often present in any romance books.

Because of this book i read almost every book by Elizabeth Hoyt. But none could compare to this.
