It's proof of how much "junk" I've been reading lately that the deeply intelligent writing and philosophical ideas contained here surprised me and took a bit getting used to. Once I did though, I was hooked. It's no high-action page-turner, but completely engrossing and thought-provoking throughout... and what a whopper of a twist ending. Wow.
