I read the book version of this story several years ago, and really enjoyed it. So when hubby suggested we sit down and check this version out together, I thought it would be fun. And it was!

Hubby, daughter and I huddled around while I read it out loud. It was as spooky and thrilling as I remember, but with the added pop-up feature it made everything a lot clearer. We all enjoyed Trisha's quest to find her way out of the scary woods after she gets lost. The art is lovely, and the way the book totally opens up is excellent. I hadn't looked at a pop-up book for ages, and this one didn't disappoint.

It was an awesome idea! And it's fun for the whole family... especially since this is about the only Stephen King story I can share with my daughter. :)
