Recommended for: People who are tired of jargon
Read from October 11 to December 08, 2011

I liked how reasonable Yancey was, liked that he didn't hit me with the same jargon I always here, liked how he acknowledged shortcomings and inconsistencies in modern Christian faith. It was a good book for me at this point in my life - dealing with spiritual topics from a Christian perspective, but not being obnoxious while doing so.

It's really more a collection of short essays gathered under loose themes than a coherent book. But it was refreshing nonetheless.
