I love Mark Bowden so this was a bit of a disappointment for me. I am used to him writing about real life high stakes dramas and this book seemed very anticlimatic (though that can be partially blamed on the nature of the subject itself). Also, at 230 pages, is seems more like a long article rather than a book. Truth be told, it would have probably been better off as an article because the long in depth (really boring) passages of how the Internet works, were enough to put me to sleep and I, along with any other reader who has a reasonable grasp of today's technology, could have done without.
