Kaz Cooke is about the funniest author I've ever read!!! I was truly laughing out loud at her take on pregnancy. As a birth doula (and now considering becoming a pregnant lady ;-) I've read so many excellent resources, but this is definitely the most hilarious. I read on that the US version lost a lot of it's charm, so had a friend from Australia bring me an original copy - I highly recommend doing that if you can, the Australian-isms are part of what makes it so funny! (Keep in mind that by doing that you will also get the Australian resource guide which isn't going to be as helpful unless you are planning to have your baby in Australia!) I would recommend that anyone looking for pregnancy books be sure to get an in-depth and highly recommended book like the Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy or The Mother of All Pregnancy Books.
