Read from October 10 to 24, 2011

What I liked most:
Sexy cover (ok, yes, shallow, but at least I got that out of the way up front;) sexy Scotsman; the way Smith-Ready doesn't shy away from depicting grittier aspects of teen life like making tough choices about sex, peer pressure, and drugs. She follows through when she shows those choices, too, by showing us just how far-ranging and devastating the consequences can be. Love what she does with standing stones, being a huge fan of those as well.
Not such a fan of the tortured love triangle, and would really like to see the pacing speed up a bit. (Waiting for sequels... grr!) 3 1/2 stars;

Jennifer Is this series really good? Been thinking about reading it ever since the character from this book Zach? the Scotsman guy beat Tod in a YA crush contest LOL Cause if the character beat out Tod he must be fantastic!
