I had been highly impressed with this book up to a point. I liked the humour and after a struggle I adjusted myself to the sudden changes of perspective. However, I found the ending unbearable. If a book suddenly thrusts blatant religious propaganda in my face I always start to feel a little nauseous. The idea that people suffering terrible radiation poisoning etc. should suffer because that was what God would want was too much for me. Not to mention another blatant religous proposition which I won't describe as it would be too much of a spoiler. Hence the three stars. In every other way it should have been at least four.
