10/09/2011 "So far i picked this up and read half of it straight thru till I had to stop to feed people. Why is it that everyone's hungry when I'm engrossed in a good book. I have a soft spot for Jimmy Carter cos he was pres. When I was a little girl. I had no idea he was so godly."
10/10/2011 ""And if we stand silent and reap the benefits of injustice, then we ourselves are equally culpable withnthose who initiated the injustice.""
10/10/2011 "If you were arrested for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?"

Leslie FaIlure is a reality. We all fail at times, and it's painful when we do. But it's better to fail while striving for something wonderful, challenging, adventurous, and uncertain than to say, "I don't want to try , because I may not succeed completely."

Leslie I was sorry to reach the end of this lovely collection of Jimmy Carter's Sunday school teachings. It's good to know he has written so much more that is out there waiting for me.
